The Star of the show
Every wedding has something that is a real shining star. Sometimes it’s an incredible cake, beautiful bouquet or class entertainment. Other times it’s the overall attention to detail like the grooms socks or his speech.
This weddings super star was the dress.
The dress had such intricate detail in lace and beading and fitted Amy perfectly. She looked a million dollars.
Amy was the first bride in the UK to wear a Calla Blanche Design as Si Bridal was the first UK Stockist.
The Wedding Party
Amy & Jackson had a pretty big do. There were 4 bridesmaids, 2 flower girls, usher and 2 best men. This was also a super kid friendly wedding – they had hired a magician to entertain the kids whilst the speeches were happening- genius!
The Feels
As with many weddings there was times of chaos! I wouldn’t be being honest if I didn’t say it! But what really got me the feels on this wedding was the time we had together for the couples shots.
The Bride and Groom were excellent hosts, and they were always chatting and laughing with someone new every time I spotted them. When we began their couple shoot I felt that they were a little unsure about leaving their guests. However as we walked around Newton Hall they started to really embrace this special moment that they could enjoy together, just the 2 of them. This was really the first time that it had been just them all day and I could see them settle into each other like you would your favourite comfy chair. It was super romantic and they kind of forgot I was there! Which is perfect for beautiful candid shots.
The Finishing Touches
There were so many fabulous touches to Amy & Jacksons day!
The room was already beautiful and they had really kept decoration simple and elegant keeping it in tune with the rustic wedding feel that Newton Hall oozes.
They went for a 4 tiered naked wedding cake and a full foliage bouquet with white flowers. Everything tied in perfectly with the chair sashes and table centre pieces.
As guests arrived for the evening reception there was plenty to entertain them! Chocolate fountain, popcorn maker, sweet cart and even a punching bag game ( this was a huge ‘hit’ with the boys!)
Oh and a light up dance floor and smoke machine for their first dance! I loved the effect it created.
Thank You Mr & Mrs Cadman for letting me be part of your amazing wedding day!
